The 27-minute documentary, titled “Unattached,” explores the myths and realities of single life on the Upper West Side and considers whether there truly is a “singles crisis” in the Orthodox Jewish community. “It takes a close look at the community''''s difficult marriage of traditional and modern philosophies on courtship, and tries to shed light upon what the future holds for a growing generation of Orthodox Jewish singles,” the film student explained.
