I am dating a guy who is Jewish and I was born into a christian protestant/catholic family, although my family is willing to meet him and invite him to holidays/events , his are 100 % not willing even to just meet me. He says he is not religious and that marriage is a possibility and I truly feel his love for me, we are very compatible, but I am still discouraged from opening my whole heart up to him for I might be wasting my time. I am in love with him and met him on this site actually and we have been together for 8 months now, but there is still something waning about this relationship, the lack of family gatherings?? the easy-ness of just having a BBQ....I seriously need help. I feel like my beliefs are closer to Judaism then my own families beliefs. I would be willing to convert but this apparently isnt enough for his family...
